Google To Phase Out Internet Explorer 6 Support

With the recent release of Windows 7 (and Microsoft started flirting with abandoning Internet Explorer 6) web designers saw the first glimpse of hope that, we as service providers, will not have to bend over backwards to make well crafted websites and applications work in a browser that was sub-par to say the least.
Enter another big dog in the fight against IE6, Google! The world's largest web company and developer of many of the most advanced online application is publicly declaring that enough is enough. Google will stop catering to IE6's bugs and shortcomings from now on, regardless of what IT Professionals at corporations want.
With a wide variety of open source browsers available to the public for free, corporations still hesitate to buy into the fact that Microsoft is not the only (or best) option. Digg and other large social networking and blog sites are also considering this as well.
